The Messenger is a fast-paced action platformer that combines classic 8-bit and 16-bit aesthetics with modern gameplay and a surprisingly deep adventure. When a demon army attacks his village, a young ninja is sent on a dangerous mission to deliver an ancient scroll that holds the key to his clan’s survival. It’s a bad port that doesn’t support gamepads; the creator missed the chance to make something good.
The controls are fine, if we managed to beat Silksong we can do this too. Improve your skill issue.
First of all, I beat Silksong using a gamepad; if you like playing badly, that’s your problem. If someone is going to make a port, they should do it right—the creator is just putting out low-quality ports.
If people can beat on touch, you can too.
And I beat it with touch controls. There’s no such thing as “playing badly” in single player games, if the person is having fun that’s the way to play. You people got so brainwashed by gatekeepers and elitists that you forgot the basic thing about games: they’re just a hobby to have fun.
But then again: skill issue.

Ah I love this game soundtrack. Maybe this time I got to finish it. For anyone that don’t know: it’s in the same universe of Sea of Stars, but this is a metroidvania with a interesting gimmick.

In any platform that was released The Messenger had excellent reviews from anyone who played it. You could, and that’s your right, say you don’t like the game. Because is pixel art or because it’s a metroidvania or because some platform sections are hard, but you saying it’s a bad game it’s not true. See: my older brother is a fan of the Diablo series. I hate them. But I’m not going to say they’re bad games. They had their flaws, but they are good in what they’re good at what they set out to do. They’re just not for me.
And I know that I said too much for nothing, because you’re not here to talk about gaming or criticize them, just see the way you express yourself. You sound like a maniacal ape. You’re just here to ragebait and troll, that’s your hobby, not games.
