The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ APK

System Requirements:

• Android 11 or higher (No special file access required for Android 11+).
• Processor: ARM64.
• Graphics: OpenGL ES 3.0+.
• RAM: 3 GB minimum.

First Launch Info:

During the first launch, the game extracts data (~576 MB). This takes about a minute. Do not close the app or lock your screen during this process. Subsequent launches will be much faster (though it may take longer on weaker devices).

The port fully supports Bluetooth gamepads with official console layouts (Switch, PS4, Xbox). When you connect a gamepad, the on-screen touch buttons automatically hide. Touching the screen instantly brings them back.

How to customize touch controls:

1. Press and hold the on-screen ESC button for about 1 second.
2. The port settings menu will open.
3. Here you can access the layout editor (change button positions and sizes), adjust stick dead zones, use a virtual PC keyboard, and toggle between 16:9 or Fullscreen modes.

All game files on your phone are located in your internal storage here:
.../Android/media/com.isaac.abplus/
(visible in any file manager).

Step-by-step guide:

1. On your PC, open the folder: Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+.
2. Copy your save files. You need files named abp_persistentgamedata1.dat (Slot 1), abp_persistentgamedata2.dat (Slot 2), etc. Optionally, copy abp_gamestate1-3.dat (for unfinished runs).
3. On your phone, place these files into the saves/ folder located in the game's directory.
4. Completely close the game and launch it again. The saves will apply automatically, and the files will be moved to the saves/imported/ folder.

Note: The saves/current/ folder always contains a backup of your current active saves. To restore them, just copy files from there back to the main saves/ folder.

You can install mods manually from the Steam Workshop. The mod folder must contain a metadata.xml file.

Installation steps:

1. Copy your mod folder into the mods/ directory on your phone (located at .../com.isaac.abplus/mods/).
2. Launch the game. The mod will install automatically (folders will be renamed to include their ID).
3. To activate it, go to the in-game menu: Mods → Enable, and then restart the run.
4. To uninstall a mod, simply delete its folder from the mods/ directory.

IMPORTANT: Resource mods (graphics, fonts, music, translations) work stably. However, mods containing Lua scripts (main.lua) are currently experimental and unstable. If your game crashes or doesn't start, remove the script mods.

How to fix and find crash logs:

1. First, make sure your device has at least 3 GB of free storage space and meets the minimum requirements (Android 11+, ARM64).
2. If the app crashes, a file named crash_log.txt will automatically appear in the main game folder.
3. For deeper debugging, create an empty file named debug (without any file extension like .txt) inside the game folder.
4. Launch the game again. It will generate detailed logs named box64.txt and (if it crashes) isaac_diag.txt.

Note: Don't forget to delete the "debug" file after you collect the logs so it doesn't slow down the game!
