MAME4droid – arcade machine emulator for android. In a recent fresh update, developers have added support for Android 13. If you have a smartphone or tablet based on Android 11+, now you can store and read ROM files from external memory cards. Even better, MAME4droid now allows you to store game saves in the same folder with ROM files. The developers also fixed some bugs.

The creators note that the game files do not come with the program itself; it supports more than 8000 ROMs. At the same time, one should not hope that even flagships will be able to pull all arcade games from the 1990s at full speed, and that they will be fully compatible. The problem is that the library of games is too large — it’s impossible to maintain it all.
