Adult Swim block on the Cartoon Network channel, running from 23:00 to 6:00 PM Pacific/Eastern time, and featured in cartoons and live-action shows for adults. On Saturdays also are shown some anime-series.

“Adult Swim “(literally” adult bathing”) means the time fixed in a public swimming pool during which it is prohibited to swim for persons under 18 years of age, and it is placed at the full disposal of adults. The name suggests that the content of the block is not intended for children.

Programs :
The broadcasting grid is divided into two parts: from 22:00 to 02:00 standard programs are shown, from 02:00 to 06:00 (the end of the broadcast) there is a repeat of the previously shown. Premier series are usually shown on Sunday, anime series are shown on Saturdays.

The main part of the mesh make their own TV shows, but some shows were acquired from FOX (American dad, family Guy), and when showing on [adult swim] series are with less censorship than FOX. In 2003, [adult swim] was shown a 22-episode 3rd season of family Guy When You Wish Upon a Weinstein banned on FOX.

Some TV shows purchased from Warner Brothers and subsequently closed, was reopened by order of the [adult swim] (the Children’s hospital, announced the resumption of production of Oblomov).
