GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Coming Before March 2023

Take-Two said in a financial report to investors that a mobile re-release of Grand Theft Auto is worth waiting for next year.

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been out for a long time on PC and consoles, including Nintendo Switch, but everyone forgot about the mobile port – this summer, even some of the older versions were temporarily removed from the App Store and Google Play, until they appeared again with fixes for new systems. But mobile gamers are looking forward to The Definitive Edition, due out before March 31st, 2023. This information is provided by foreign sources with reference to the Take-Two financial report.

Initially, mobile GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was expected in the first half of 2022, but there was zero information on it, and now we learn that the trilogy has been postponed. Apparently it’s a matter of poor optimization. We expect the games to be sold as a bundle, at the very least it will save some money.

When GTA: The Trilogy came out on PC and consoles, everyone criticized it: poor optimization for the Nintendo Switch, visual defects, clumsy faces on key characters, and everything is not as Grand Theft Auto fans imagined. Well, almost a year has passed since that release, so Take-Two remembered the mobile version of the GTA trilogy. They are obliged to release it before March 31, 2023, but with the impending pandemic and other global problems, the launch may be delayed, maybe for the better – critical bugs will be fixed. Meanwhile, the original versions are returning to the markets with optimization for modern smartphones. Well, thank you for that.
